Goodwill Kilgore does some Good
hanks to the Kilgore staff makes the News for their Act of Kindness!
Here is the article in its entirety from the Kilgore News Herald.
Act of Kindness
I would like to thank the ladies who work at the Goodwill store in Kilgore. They displayed a remarkable level of customer service that proved good people still exist.
About a week ago, my sons and I went shopping and found ourselves at Goodwill. Right away, the ladies working there gave us a warm welcome.
We browsed the store looking through many items. After “window shopping,” we decided to leave. I was buckling my sons into their car seats as one of the workers was leaving. She noticed me and said, “You’re still here! You left your wallet in the shopping cart so I put it behind the desk inside for you.” I thanked her and ran back into the store. I discovered my wallet fully intact.
If you have ever misplaced your wallet, you know how devastating it can be. It is stressful and time-consuming to replace sensitive information. Sometimes people remind us of the good traits it takes to be a decent human being. —Jamie Ramirez, Kilgore
