Thanks to our partnership with the IRS, each year Goodwill Industries of East Texas assists low-income families with free tax preparation through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Despite COVID-19 restrictions, these necessary services will still be provided in person.

For those unable to attend one of our in-person appointments, we offer a drop-off service for tax preparation. 

You must provide a working phone number. We need to be able to call you to:

  • Let you know that we have received your documents.
  • Ask any questions or notify you if additional information is needed.
  • Set an appointment to sign and pick up your tax return. 

ALL COMPLETED FORMS AND TAX DOCUMENTS MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY APRIL 10TH.

This service is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

REQUIRED FORMS

Each one of these forms has to be signed by all taxpayers and dropped off with your documents, for your return to be prepared. 

  • Intake/Interview & Quality Review Sheet (Form 13614-C)
  • Consent to Use Personal Tax Return Information / Consent to Disclose Personal Tax Return Information (Greater Longview United Way Consent Form)
  • Virtual VITA/TCE Taxpayer Consent (Form 14446) – Only return Page 3. Keep Pages 1 and 2 for your records. 

You can print all required forms from here. If you do not have access to a printer, these forms can be picked up at any of our locations listed below.

If you are unable to print the forms provided below, they can be picked up from these locations, as well.
